Select the board option that best fits your project and choose the number of handwritten recipes you would like included.

2. Upload Your Recipe

Upload a clear photograph, scan, or PDF of each handwritten recipe included in your order.

Don’t worry if the original is faded, stained, creased, or showing its age. We understand that these well-loved imperfections are often part of the story.

3. We Preserve the Handwriting

We carefully prepare your recipe for engraving while working to preserve the character and personality of the original handwriting.

Whenever possible, we retain meaningful details such as corrections, underlining, handwritten notes, and other features that make the recipe recognizable to your family.

4. We Design Your Board

We thoughtfully arrange your recipe or recipes to create a balanced design for your Recipe Heirloom Board.

You may also share meaningful details you would like us to consider, such as:

• A loved one’s signature
• A favorite flower or bird
• A family saying
• A special date
• A meaningful Scripture
• A short personal message

Not every additional element will work with every layout, but we will do our best to create a design that feels personal and uncluttered.

5. You Receive a Digital Proof

Before we engrave your board, we will email you a digital proof showing the proposed layout.

Nothing is engraved until you approve the design.

Please review the proof carefully for layout, spelling, names, dates, and other personalized details.

6. Approve or Request a Revision

If you love the design, simply reply to the proof email with your approval and we will begin creating your board.

If you would like an adjustment, your purchase includes one round of reasonable revisions.

Send us your requested changes, and we will prepare an updated proof for you to review.

Once the final proof is approved, your board moves into production.

Preparing Your Recipe for Upload

For the best possible result, photograph or scan your recipe:

• Straight-on rather than at an angle
• In good, even lighting
• At the highest resolution available
• With the entire recipe visible
• Without shadows covering the handwriting

If possible, avoid screenshots of photographs or images that have been heavily compressed.

Don’t Have a Perfect Copy?

That’s okay.

Send us the best version you have. We know that treasured family recipes are often faded, stained, torn, or written on paper that has been handled for decades.

We’ll carefully review your file and work with what you have whenever possible.

Because each board is personalized and engraved specifically for you, your approval of the digital proof confirms that the layout and personalized information are correct.

Once you approve the proof and engraving begins, additional changes may not be possible.
